POSITIVE GOALS | Morton & River Clyde Homes Partnership

River Clyde Homes and Morton Community have teamed up to support RCH tenants into work through Morton’s Positive Goals project.

Positive Goals is designed to support job seekers on their journey back to work. Each project is 6 weeks long in which we deliver a labour market related employability programme including three aspects of qualifications: World Host Principles of Customer Service, Core Skills in IT at Level 2, 3 or 4 and Emergency First Aid. We continue to support our participants for 13 weeks after Positive Goals ends to maximise their chances of securing employment.

Gordon McKillop, Education, Employability & Operations Manager, at Morton Community states: ‘Positive Goals is a project that often flies under the radar but has an enormous impact on its participants and wider household. It’s fantastic for us to grow our partnership with River Clyde Homes in this forward thinking manner.’

Kirsty Morrison, Head of Customer Services (Central), said: “River Clyde Homes are delighted to embark upon this partnership with Greenock Morton Community Trust to offer our customers the opportunity to get back into employment through the Positive Goals project. Our role goes beyond a housing provider and we are committed to improving our customers lives through projects such as this.”
