Morton Summer Camps 2013 Brochure
GMCT are thrilled to announce that this summer they will be running holiday football camps for 4-15 year olds in conjuction with the SFA, Inverclyde Leisure, Active Schools/Sports Development Inverclyde and Dunoon Youth Football League.
Tom Elliott who is now 6 weeks into his post of Community Engagement Manager, has been working around the clock to put together an exciting 6 week programme which will run over the summer holidays. Not only will there be 6 weeks of camps at Battery Park but our coaches will be delivering camps in Dunoon for the first time. There will also be additional weeks in both Weymss Bay and Port Glasgow with exclusive ‘girls only camps’ at Battery Park.
We grabbed a word with Tom who said “These are exciting times for the community trust and from the outset l was eager to offer holiday camps to the children of Inverclyde and Dunoon. I am delighted with the programmes that we are able to offer this summer and I’m especially pleased with the partnerships we have formed while developing these camps”.
Our leaflet, which will be distributed to every school in the Inverclyde area and Dunoon contains all information required to book a place on our camps. Booking can either be done by post/phone or online via our website mortoncommunity.net under the section Summer Camps.
This is a great opportunity for children between the ages of 4 and 15 to come along this summer and enjoy our unique camp experience. There will be many themed days and everyone who attends will receive a certificate for completing the camp and a small gift.
