It’s the last working day for the community coaches before the start of our World Cup Summer Camps on Monday 30th June. Mark Farrell, Morton FC Groundsman, (pictured above) is all set for what will be a fantastic week at Cappielow Park. Mark was delighted to offer the pitch for our first venue at our camps this summer and Tom Elliott, Community Engagement Manager, immediately accepted Mark’s offer.
New goals have been delivered today ahead of Monday and the coaches along with Tom & Mark have been getting everything prepared ahead of our KO at 10am on Monday morning. Bookings can still be taken online via our website Summer Camps for the seven weeks of camps during the school holidays.
After our first week at Cappielow Park we then move to Battery Park, Wemyss Bay and Port Glasgow Community Campus. Week 3 we are at Battery Park followed by week 4 when we are still at Battery Park but also travel across the water in Dunoon. Week 5 camps are running at Battery Park, Port Glasgow and Dunoon followed by week 6 where we are at Battery Park, Wemyss Bay and our last week in Dunoon. Week 7 will run for 4 days on the final week at Battery Park.
So what are you waiting for, grab your boots and join us at our World Cup Summer Camps this year.
Letters will be emailed with house rules ahead of the camps starting and every Monday registration will take place at 9.45am at each camp venue followed by a short introduction by the Head Coach.
Remember to bring plenty of water and dress for the weather. Full day campers are reminded to bring a packed lunch too.
So if you want to play like Messi, Neymar or Muller then sign up for our World Cup Summer Camps.
