Greenock Morton Hall of Fame Gala Dinner
in aid of Greenock Morton Youth Academy
Saturday 15 November 2014 in Greenock Town Hall
The Supporters Trust in conjunction with the Community Trust are establishing a Morton Hall of Fame whereby club legends both from the distant and not so distant past will be inducted on an annual basis. It is intended that this will be annual event but, for this inaugural dinner, a selection committee have nominated a number players, some of whom will be admitted automatically and some of whom will be selected by a public vote conducted by the Greenock Telegraph.
The dinner will be attended by many of the players being nominated as well as living relatives of some players of bygone eras and will be hosted by Scottish Sun columnist, Des McKeown who describes himself as “a stationery salesman formerly a stationary fullback!”
Tickets for this event are priced at £45 individually or £400 for a table of ten and we hope that you will be able to support us by buying tickets. The proceeds of the evening are for the Morton Youth Academy and it seems appropriate that an event honouring past players supports the development of future Morton stars!
Bookings can be made through the Community Trust Office at Cappielow, telephone 01475 731949, and we shall have online booking facilities available shortly.
We hope you are able to join us and look forward to seeing you.
