The Youth Academy is reliant on fundraising events, such as the Brain Drain Dinner, as they help fund the development of our youth in Inverclyde. Warren Hawke and Derek Anderson have just completed their third year in charge of the Youth Academy and have seen another excellent crop of young players push towards the First Team Squad.
Hawke says, “The long term strategy for the club is to invest in the local area, focusing on developing the talent within Inverclyde and the surrounding areas, ensuring we give these players the best chance of playing in the Morton first team of tomorrow. Derek has recruited an exceptional group of coaches and this can be seen in the progress the Academy is making every week.”
“A Youth Academy Inverclyde will be proud of” are the words echoed by both Warren Hawke & Derek Anderson but we need your help by supporting this event on the 6th of June. The Brain Drain is a grand quiz where teams of tables compete against themselves to be crowned Brain Drain Champions 2015. On the night there will be;
