Greener Morton Project Manager, Karen Welsh visited another CCF funded project today in Rutherglen.  Wendy Russell and her team have been working non-stop over the past three months to create their Swap Shop Boutique in the heart of Rutherglen, R:evolve Clothing.  Karen traded in her un-used and unwanted items to the boutique and signed up to become a member which includes signing the “Triple T” Pledge.

  • Tell 3 people about the service
  • Teach 3 people about what you have learned from R:evolve Recycle
  • Think “One Third”.  Find ways to reduce your textile waste by 1/3

The boutique is open Wednesday to Fridays 10am – 4pm and hope to be open soon on a Saturday.  For more information please contact wendy@leap-project.co.uk or mel@leap-project.co.uk or telephone the boutique on 0141 641 5169.  The most important point, the address so now there is no excuse for you not to visit 47 Farmloan Road, Rutherglen, G73 1DN and there are parking spaces right outside.
