Greenock Morton Hockey Club (GMHC) have developed an exciting and meaningful partnership with local charity Ardgowan Hospice.
It’s hoped the partnership will increase the profile of both parties and allow both to grow and expand their networks locally.
The new initiative will see GMHC team together with the Hospice in joint fundraising with all funds being split equally and reinvested locally.
Alan Martin, Head of Morton Hockey, comments: “From a hockey perspective, we are keen to reinvest the funds locally so we can increase our membership and provide our current members with a better service.”
To promote the partnership, GMHC are wearing the Hospice logo proudly on their new kits and are encouraging local businesses or individuals to make donations to their Just Giving page.
Alan states: “If we receive a donation of £100 or more, we are offering match sponsorship for our weekend fixtures which gives promotion on social media and in the local press.
“We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Quigley Architects who made the first donation to our fundraising partnership.”
