Pamela Stewart signed up to the #Morton50DayChallenge back in March and has since raised £773.37 for Bloodwise, a charity close to Pamela’s heart, and Morton in the Community.

Pamela comments: “I decided to take part to raise money for Bloodwise as this was a charity that my friend Bill had chosen before he passed away.

“I thoroughly enjoyed walking and knowing I had a target each day made it more fun. I thought I would get fed up, but I didn’t and I think this was because so many people had sponsored me and it gave me the push to complete the challenge.

“I also became aware that by walking every day I was actually feeling fitter.”

This year the #Morton50DayChallenge has raised over £1,700, with donations still to be made we hope to break £2,000.

You can still support Pamela’s #Morton50DayChallenge by donating via her Just Giving page.

Gordon McKillop, Operations Manager at Morton in the Community stated: “We cannot thank fundraisers like Pamela enough for all their efforts. She has raised a fantastic sum of money and she can be immensely proud.”
