Micro Morton is the first step on Greenock Morton’s player pathway which runs from aged 2 years through to the Morton 1st team. Players in attendance will be challenged in a fun, safe learning environment by fully qualified SFA, Morton coaches.
Each session will consist of fun warm ups, fun football games and small sided football matches aimed at improving Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS). Furthermore, we encourage parents/guardians to stay with their little stars and also participate in fun football.

- What does my son or daughter need to wear/bring?
We encourage all players in attendance to wear what they feel comfortable in, typically participants wear football strip and trainers (all sessions are delivered inside). Don’t worry if your son or daughter doesn’t have a football strip, shorts and t-shirt will also be sufficient. Footballers should also bring a drink (no fizzy juice) as there will be drink breaks throughout the session.
- Do I have to stay or can I drop my son/daughter off?
For Micro Morton we ask all parents/ guardians stay for the duration of the session in order to watch their little star develop and provide comfort in what can be a new environment. Furthermore, parents and guardians may get the opportunity to join part of the session with their son/daughter and play fun games in which could be played at home.
- How do I book my son/daughter onto Micro Morton?
In order to book your son/daughter onto Micro Morton you have three options:

- Do I need to sign up to the full block?
We encourage people to block book prior to the kick off of each block in order for us to plan staff and resources. However, we have the option of paying weekly as we know there are activities/sports in which your son or daughter may attend. Furthermore, sessions cost £4 per session, however if you block book this will cost £3.50 per session.
