Having previously announced a new 3 year sponsorship deal with Specsavers of Greenock we recently showcased the Morton Girls’ new, bespoke strip outside the local store. Part of the agreement will see the Specsavers logo feature on all of our Girls’ strips.
Morton in the Community and Specsavers Greenock have had a long standing relationship, which has saw Specsavers become a very proud supporter of our community projects. In particular, Micro Morton which they have sponsored over the past 4 years. This exciting partnership now sees’ Specsavers as the main sponsor of not only our Micro Morton centres, but our entire Girls pathway from U9’s through to U17’s.
Due to this partnership, it has enabled us to invest in new match day kit, training kit and coaching equipment for all of our Girls Teams and Micro Morton centres. In-turn, this will provide a better and more professional experience for everyone involved in our sessions, from coaches to players.
Already, we have had Specsavers along to Cappielow for hospitality to officially launch the next stage of our already exciting partnership. At half time of the Ayr United game on 29th October 2019 we presented a framed Girls’ top to Lesley, Claire and Jonathan of Specsavers Greenock. Also, Specsavers recently attended our Girls’ end of year presentation night where they presented the Players’ Player of the Year Award for our U13’s, U15’s and U17’s teams.

There will be more updates on this partnership that will showcase the huge difference it is making to our Girls’ game.
